Description
Voted Vietnam's Best Business Hotel in 2000, this five-star property remains a favourite among the business-traveller crowd. Sitting next door to the Hanoi Opera House, the Hilton Hanoi Opera does a good job of blending in to the environs -- a refreshing change compared to some of the massive glass-and-brass business options in Hanoi. While the hotel attracts both business travellers and tourists, the attention to detail is more evident in the business suites rather than the standard rooms. The former are well-kitted out and have access to comprehensive business facilities, while the latter are standard five-star fare -- though they are very green. Staff are courteous and helpful, and the pool is well placed with Operatic views. If you're in Hanoi, primarily on business, (and you want to impress the pants off your clients) the Hilton is hard to beat.
