It hardly seems any time since the Classic I Hotel's revamp and yet now it's been revamped again along with a change of name; it's now the Asian Ruby Hotel. The staff member who showed us round explained that all the rooms had been refurbished, but it's a shame they didn't do the same to the hallways, which don't instill much hope about what you're about to find behind the doors. However, push on, the rooms are worth a look. The superior rooms are windowless and a bit on the small side, but they're nicely fitted out, with modern laminate wood furniture and well-dressed beds, and they even come with dressing gowns, which is quite a perk for rooms at this price. The premium rooms are very spacious and bright and if you can get a discount they're one of the best options in the price range. Bathrooms are the icing on the cake, with glass shower cubicles and slate tiles.
