What we say:

Towering above the Old Quarter skyline, this large new hotel clearly states its purpose in its name. But don't let that put you off if you don't fit into the backpacker category; reception is hotel-style and the private rooms are some of the best around in the price range. Choose from the double or triple rooms, both of which come with comfy beds, laptops and windows. Some of the bathrooms are unusual, with frosted glass walls, lending the otherwise standard rooms a modern touch. The seven dorm rooms each sleep six in comfortably sized bunk beds, each of which comes with a large locker, and there's a bathroom in the room. The pool room and movie theatre are ideal for when you're tired of traipsing the streets of Old Quarter, with comfy looking beanbags in the latter, and thank goodness there's a lift. The staff member we met was extremely friendly and spoke very good English. Recommended.
