When the Sunrise Resort opened up on Cat Co 3, they tried to privatise the beach, but the government stepped in an made them open it up to the people. So, we guess communism ain't all bad. It's actually a beautiful little boutique resort with nice big pool, and plenty of cheerful umbrellas and sun-loungers along the short, narrow strip of beach it rests upon. There's well-trained staff, and the rooms are pretty much the best you'll find on Cat Ba, though they're a little small for what you pay. But if you're looking for a comfortable room on the beach, this is your only choice. Otherwise, you'll do just as well to stay at the Princes Hotel in Town. Prices do not include 15% taxes and surcharges. Complimentary breakfast included.
