What we say:

The Ha Long Pearl is really a two-star hotel, but unfortunately it's masquerading as a four-star hotel. There's a long-history of people checking in here and getting very angry with their travel agent, which should tell you something about the quality of the rooms. Nothing terrible, just too cramped and uncomfortable for the price. The Saigon Halong is a much better value at a comparable price, and even the deadly-dull Heritage Hotel beats this place hands down. Prices do not include 15% taxes and charges.
