Set next door to the almost classy Song Sao Hotel, the Tai Ngan is a passable budget option with basic but clean rooms. The mattresses are super bouncy but the bathrooms are grimy. For the money, it isn't too bad. A little bit of Engish is spoken and there is a money changing office next door. If you're on a backpacker budget, Guesthouse Number 6 is probably more your style.
