What we say:

Well off the beach in a lush garden setting, friendly Thanh Hai caters mainly to high season overflow. Bungalows come in two varieties. The cheaper are made of brick, have fan and cold shower, but are fairly pleasant. The more expensive are in whitewashed bungalows, and have hot water and air-con, but are strangely laid out -- the one we looked at had a small entry room that appeared to be used as storage. English was pretty limited, but the staff were friendly enough to make up for it. If you're on a budget and don't mind walking to the beach, it's not a bad option.
