Beautiful stretch of beach
Right on a beautiful beach( no waves) is this lovely beach resort. We stayed in a deluxe rom- reason...
What we say:
Currently the second to last stop on Long beach, Eden Resort is one of a new crop of high-priced luxury resorts popping up on the south end of the beach. The whole of the resort is pretty, with a well-manicured garden and stylish buildings, but the charm is somewhat sterile -- kind of like walking through a beachfront retirement community. Rooms are divided between a few large hotel-style buildings and scattered bungalows. The hotel rooms are as good as you might expect from the exterior, but for the price they're nothing to brag about and a little tight on space. If you have the budget, splurge for the bungalows, which are spacious. Also, the infinity pool is a great touch for those not keen on the sand. With a new neighbour to the south, the allure of an unspoilt beach to the south is over. Not an awful spot, but for the price you can do better elsewhere. Shop online for a competitive rate.

Right on a beautiful beach( no waves) is this lovely beach resort. We stayed in a deluxe rom- reasonable but noisy aircon.
Staff were very helpful especially Peter and Lloyd. Of course they have friends who can take you here and there and everywhere for cheap! Breakfast was very good- well stocked .
Loved the happy hour from 7 till 8 most nights, wines one night, cocktails the next. All complimentary!
We dined there at night afterwards on a couple of occasions and was pleasantly surprised_ good food and not crazy expensive. I think we had a deal as even though it was good , I'd say it was worth about $100-150 per night. If you can get something like that , I'd say its good value.
A little bit out of ''town'' for our liking but only a $5 cab fare ....or a 1 hour 10 min walk!
