What we say:

Currently the last stop on Long Beach, Eden Resort is one of the new crop of high-priced luxury resorts popping up on the south end of the beach. The whole of the resort is pretty, with a well-manicured garden and stylish resort buildings, but the charm is sterile, kind of like walking through a beachfront retirement community. Rooms are divided between a few large hotel-style buildings and a scattered number of bungalows. The hotel rooms are as good as you might expect from the exterior, but for the price they're nothing to brag about and a little tight on space. The views would be nice but, unfortunately, neighbours were being built on both sides at the time of writing, and the constant thud and views of construction may be part of life for a little while at Eden. On the plus side, until the neighbours are built, you have the full run of a beautiful stretch of beach for about as far as you can see in each direction. Also, the infinity pool is a great touch for those not keen on the sand. Not an awful spot, but for the price you can do much better elsewhere.
