Instead of emulating Western resorts, Long Beach Resort taps into its Vietnamese roots to provide a luxury lodging that oozes with charm. They pride themselves on the use of ancient Vietnamese architecture and they do a good job blending the old rustic feel with modern amenities. In fact, everything feels very traditional and modern at the same time; modern fixtures in the bathroom, but ornamental leaf fans on the ceiling. Rooms are spacious and come with all the comforts of home, including TV, air-con, and WiFi. The resort is laid out over an expansive area, which means rooms can be a bit of a walk from the beach, especially those toward the front, and this also affects your view. The resort is currently in phase one and the phase two rooms look as if they're going to have a better view of the sea but we won't be sure until they're complete. When you do make it to the beachfront you'll also be rewarded with a fancy new pool and a fine restaurant. Recommended if it fits your budget.
