What we say: 
The Rang Dong is a little bit of a walk away from the rest of the offerings in My Tho and attracts a mixed crowd of Vietnamese and foreign tourists. The staff here were particulary friendly and the air-con rooms are very well-sized with a suite-like two-room setup -- bedroom at the rear and a small lounge at the front. Furnishings are a little tatty and the lounges well-loved, though the rooms and the bathrooms were clean. Not a bad budget option.

Good value
The hotel is just opposite the pier. We paid for a double room 150,000 Dong. We inspected several rooms until we found an acceptable one. The room was spacious but not very clean. The bathroom was basic. The staff is friendly. It's not far from the nice lake.
