Description
More of a minihotel than a guesthouse, the Van Tram has around six rooms, many of which have great views over the river. The doubles are really spacious and could comfortably sleep four or more making this an ideal choice for families. Rooms come with semi-soft beds, heavy curtains, fridge, tv and air-con along with very clean hot water bathrooms. Even if you're on the top floor you'll get a generous dose of late-night karaoke racket from the Hoa Nang restaurant/cafe/bar that sits across the road on the riverbank, so if you're a light sleeper, pack some earplugs. Rates are inflated, but the location and size of the rooms make this place a winner. Some of the staff speak good English.
