Description
This accommodation is on offer at an 'ecological tourism area' called Bau Ra, just off a side road on the west side of Highway 1 as it passes through Ha Tinh, and just south of the Dai Bang Hotel. It's deserted in the off season, but fills up with tourists in the high season, when the central seafood restaurant also comes to life. It's on the edge of some rice fields, and in addition to rooms in a hotel style building, it has a series of concrete bungalows built over the top of a duck pond, connected by walkways. These rooms are cheap and basic, but quite serviceable, and you can't beat the unique atmosphere, as well as the peace and quiet. It's definitely the most unique and memorable choice of the 'off the main road' options.
