Sun Spa Resort

Nhat Le's sole beach digs

This is Nhat Le Beach's sole resort, a four-star outfit that has staked out a beach head. We imagine that most westerners looking for a beach vacation will make the effort to head further south, where the sand is a bit nicer and there are many more options in terms of accommodation. But if you want to save on travel time or dodge the crowds, this provides a decent fall-back option. Most of the rooms are in condo-style buildings, but the interiors are sufficiently lush and luxurious to please four-star habitues. There's an infinity pool, three restaurants, and a wide range of water-sports equipment is available. Even if you're not staying here, there are number of services available a la carte for reasonable prices, like racket rental for the tennis court, and catamaran rides. The massages here are surprisingly cheap.

* Travelfish researchers visit and review properties on an anonymous basis. By that we mean they show up, in person, and pretend to be either be a potential guest, or somebody looking for a room for a friend or relative. Where possible the researcher will inspect at least a couple of rooms. The rates you see above are what either the desk staff told us they were, or what were in the brochure when they just told us to quit bugging them and look in the brochure.
