A bit depressing

What we say: 2.5 stars

This is one of the few places right near the bus station that accepts foreigners. It's a good example of why local authorities probably want to steer visitors away from accommodation near the bus station. Although the court-yard setting is promising and the staff friendly enough, the interiors, which are dim, dusty and musty, are downright depressing. On our previous visit it had the cheapest rooms on offer in Dien Bien Phu but prices have leapt so you'd now be better off heading across the road to Viet Hoang or May Hong.
