Description
No, not that kind of party, the political kind. This place is set along the river down a steep slope just before the bridge to the bus station along Tran Dinh Ninh Road. The sign just reads Nha Khach. What you'll get here is a very decent, cheap double room -- okay shower bathrooms, very comfy beds, and some good furnishings. The staff here is a family that lives in the reception area, and when we stayed here, we found it was a great place to stay if you just wanted to be left alone. They were quiet as mice the entire time and never bugged us about anything, which -- if you've ever been to one of those hotels where they are always barging into your room and peppering you with questions every time you come and go -- has it's virtues. You can save a buck or so staying at the Hai Yen, for instance, but we found this a good bit more pleasant.

This place is across from the bus station, closer to the Thanh Binh bridge leading to the market. The rooms we saw were light and airy, if a bit musty, but an improvement over the nearby Hai Yen on that score.
