Description
Hoa Binh town has a lot of frontage along the reservoir, so we though it would be sensible to seek out a place that takes advantage of that. This place overlooks the water, and you can get here by taking the last right down the alley before the dam road, off of Cu Chinh Lan. Unfortunately we found the rooms here a bit spare and scuzzy, but they are reasonably priced and as we anticipated, good views are on offer.

We found this place on Ngo Quyen, a cross street that links Cu Chinh Lan with Dien Bien Phu, which provides a bit of a break from the traffic along the main road. There was a pot of medicinal herbs cooking at the entrance giving the place a very healthy, pungent aroma. This is good guesthouse... more
