Guest House 1
Wonderfully friendly

What we say:
Likely to be the first guesthouse you will see if you come in on the Bac Lac village road. The owners are friendly and helpful but the room is as standard — a large room with rattan flooring on which sleeping mats are arranged under mosquito nets. — There are two clean-enough bathrooms and good views of the nearby rice fields.

Perfect!
We've stayed at Thu and Hoa's place three times now, and everytime has been wonderful - I can't think of a nicer place to just sit down with a beer and take in the scenery. The dorm rooms aren't anything fancy, but they're clean and cheap. At our most recent visit, they'd expanded the building, so you can now sit upstairs as well as on the downstairs patio, and watch the rice paddies. The food was really good - dinner especially - and everything was an excellent value for the money. There's a lot of places to stay in Mai Chau, but everyone here is so warm and friendly, I can't imagine going anywhere else.
