Tan Nguyet Guest House
Just grotty

What we say:
It might be the cheapest option in town but it looks it. Reception is full of clutter, dusty and dirty and the rooms aren't much better: cobwebs on the walls, broken furniture, small and grimy bathrooms and beds which feel like the springs gave up hope 20 years ago. But it's cheap. The owner here can cook you up an authentic dinner for a song. We left the choice up to her though, and got sausages made of dog intestines. So, maybe be more specific than we were.

pretty awful
I spent two nights here and would have changed hotels had I been able to. It seems the tour groups book out the ok hotels. This was cheap but overpriced for what you get. The place was so dirty I had trouble keeping my clothes clean and water dripped down at least one wall. In the bathroom, no light, the floor was always wet because the basin just had a hole and no pipe and the twel they gave me was dirty. When I asked for another one they had trouble finding a clean one. When I went to check out the owner was at the market and I couldn't get my passport til she got back. However, it was quiet, convenient and the people were nice. I paid 140,000vnd
