What we say: 
Tucked away on the corner of Pham Dinh Phung, a stone's throw from the bus station, Doan Trang offers great value rooms. They're small but spotless, with fresh white bedding, large, neatly tiled bathrooms, broadcast TV, fan, air-con and a kettle. It's even got a lift. No great views — as the windows look out over the bus station — but at least it's not too far to carry your bags.
