Description
This is the best of the places in town that we checked out and didn't like very much. The rooms are spacious, but not very well-appointed. But you'll get a bathroom with hot water shower and a reasonably comfortable bed. Really not worth the price, but nothing we saw was. It's just down from the bridge, on the left, as you head towards Yen Bai.

We spied this place on the edge of town heading towards Lao Cai, just on the left, and singled it out because of the beautiful stilt house where, we assumed, the rooms are. They aren't. They are dank little cells tucked under the house. But the restaurant seating area out front more than makes up... more
