Description
The Duxton's angular edifice sits flush onto the sidewalk of Nguyen Hue Blvd, convenient for some of the best shopping in Saigon. The hotel has a cool finish throughout with a sedate colour scheme and minimalist feel. The hotel's 198 deluxe, executive and suite rooms are comfortable and well-styled with decorative pillows, traditional fabrics ands tasteful Vientamese art. While they don't have balconies, rooms on the higher floors have reasonable views over the city. Facilities include in-room internet access, minibar, coffee-making facilities, satellite TV and a safe. On the downside, the Duxton has a very small pool and a general lack of space to relax in. Check for an internet rate.

Hotel Majestic
1 Dong Khoi St, District 1, Saigon
Dating back to 1925, the Majestic sits on what was once Rue Catinat (now Dong Khoi St) and Quai de Belgique Street (now Ton Duc Thang St) -- an area both historic and very well suited for holiday-makers and shoppers alike. Despite a series of renovations, and unlike the Rex, the Majestic remains a... more

Voted one of the top 100 luxury hotels in the world by the Robb Report, the Caravelle Hotel, set on Lam Son Square opposite the Saigon Opera House, is one of the top properties in Saigon. Named Best Business Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City 2006 by Business Traveller Magazine and Best Business Hotel in Vietnam 2004 and 2005 by Business Asia Magazine, the Sheraton Saigon Hotel and Towers is one of the most popular hotels among business travellers to Saigon. Sofitel Plaza Saigon
17 Le Duan Blvd, District 1, Saigon
The Sofitel Plaza Saigon stands on the lovely tree-lined Le Duan Boulevard. As with the Caravelle and Renaissance, there's little in the way of a nod to colonial charm in this glass and brass edifice, but once you've put that aside, the Sofitel has an excellent standard of room, making it an... more

Park Hyatt Saigon
2 Lam Son Square, District 1, Saigon
Quite simply, the Park Hyatt is Saigon's best hotel. Opened in 2005, the Saigon Park Hyatt was a decade in the making and it was certainly worth the wait. Everything from the wooden plantation shutters to the silky ao dais and the subdued Vietnamese art simply ooze elegance and class. The gleaming... more

The Legend Hotel Saigon
2A-4A Ton Duc Thang St, District 1, Saigon
The Legend feels somewhat isolated, set away to the north of the Australian Embassy on Ton Duc Thang St. Attracting a primarily Japanese and North Asian clientele, the Legend really doesn't feel like Vietnam at all, and the lobby lounge doesn't hold back, welcoming guests with a grandiose enclosure... more

Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon
8-15 Ton Duc Thang St, District 1, Saigon
The towering 21-floor, 349-room Renaissance Riverside Hotel sits at the intersection of Ton Duc Thang St and Hai Ba Trung Boulevard with among the best views over the Saigon River in the entire city.
