Saigon Mini Hotel is close to the central backpackers area but secluded enough to be away from the noise and disturbances. Marketed as a business hotel, Saigon Mini opened in April 2008 and boasts a building both refreshingly light and airy. Most of the rooms catch a good dose of this light and air -- but not all, so ask to see a few if the room you're shown lucked out in the window department. Wifi is available throughout the hotel and generally the hotel represents very good value. All furniture is new and rooms are exceptionally clean -- functional yet minimalist. Prices include a Continental breakfast.

Super friendly and comfortable - 13th March, 2010
These guys hadn't received our online booking, but gave us a walk-in rate of $35US a night for 2 nights for a 'superior' room. The reception staff are unbelievably friendly - they look genuinely overjoyed at everything you say, and their English is awesome. Rate includes breakfast, and the room is really nice and spotlessly clean. Down a side alley right near the backpacker district, so quiet but a very handy location.
