What we say:

Beautiful Saigon Hotel, spitting distance from the heart of Pham Ngu Lao, offers rooms and service beyond typical backpacker fare. Rooms in the front of the hotel are light and airy, complete with air-con, cable TV, and a computer in each room for internet access. Rooms in the back aren't quite as good, being simple and a little drab, smaller, and getting less light through the windows. Still, they come with the same amenities and are not too small. The stairways in the building are very narrow, perhaps forcing those with broad shoulders to walk up diagonally; luckily, the elevator works well, giving you options. Every morning the downstairs entrance hall is converted into a dining area that serves you complimentary breakfast — seats are limited, so latecomers may have to wait to get a table.
