Hong Lien Hotel sits a short distance outside Saigon's busier tourist areas. Rooms have plenty of extra space and they have one of the bigger standards among budget spots in the area; so big that every room has a writing desk. They are clean, with modern furniture, and internet, air-con and TV. The one drawback is that, since they are situated in the hotel's interior, standard rooms have no windows. Bathrooms are spacious, with a small bathtub and shower. Two computers are available for guest use in the lobby. Rates are generally negotiable, if the hotel isn't full, and discounts of 5-10% are easily earned, particularly for longer stays.
