Description
Take a look at their domain name and you'll see where this upscale resort is focussed. Full Moon Beach has a range of tasteful and very well-designed rooms, along with a spacious beachfront restaurant. Rooms are large with slate floors and four-poster fauz-antique beds. The rooms also come with a desk, lounge and veranda furniture -- perfect for cards and an afternoon G&T. Bathrooms are immaculate with plush corner baths. The seaside restaurant gets the afternoon breeze and a tantalising medium-sized pool beckons. Full Moon is quite stylish and upmarket for Mui Ne, and prices reflect this. Standards here fill up very fast, so reservations are recommended.

Paradise Huts
86 Nguyen Dinh Chieu St, Mui Ne Beach
This super-friendly spot next to Full Moon Beach has spotless rooms and bungalows set in a manicured beachfront garden. With fish swimming around in little ponds throughout the resort, the overly manicured nature of the gardens may not be to all tastes, but this place really is spotless. The cute... more

Suoi Tien Mui Ne Resort
60 Nguyen Dinh Chieu St, Mui Ne Beach
This compact resort sits on a very pretty stretch of Mui Ne sand. Owned by a Saigon family, their original property was 5km away from their current position and when they decided to move they totally dismantled their bungalows and brought them with them. The deluxe chalets are duplex and set right... more

Hawaii Resort
40 Nguyen Dinh Chieu St, Mui Ne Beach
Hawaii has a well-placed pool half way down its rambling and very well-shaded grounds. Rooms are clean but of the three rooms we saw, we couldn't be shown a single bathroom as they were all locked from the inside, which struck us as rather unusual. The staff try hard, but their English isn't great... more

Rach Dua Tropico Resort
68 Nguyen Dinh Chieu St, Mui Ne Beach
Looking a bit long in the tooth, Rach Dua has passable rooms in a longhouse set-up with a centrally placed beachfront pool. The rooms are clean but rather oddly furnished and the mirrors in the bathrooms, which have bathtubs, have strange ornate plaster frames. The gardens are borderline between... more

California Mui Ne Resort
98B Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ham Tien, Phan Thiet
Opened in November 2006, California Mui Ne Reosrt is another competitor for best value mid-range hotel on the strip. No bungalows are on offer as the rooms are based in a U-shaped creamy villa style building wrapped around the central courtyard and pool area. Spacious family rooms are available... more

Sea Breeze
100 Nguyen Dinh Chieu St, Mui Ne Beach
Sea Breeze is located away from the central strip of Mui Ne resorts and while this may be an advantage, the rooms are not awfully good value here. The majority are almost motel-like -- clean and functional, but not awfully inspired. The older wooden and palm-leave A-frames were more to our taste --... more

Lucy Resort
Km2, Ham Tien, Phan Thiet
Lucy is one resort that's well away from the main row of hotels and restaurants down on the southern end of Nguyen Dinh Chieu, just around the other side of the cape approaching Mui Ne town. If you're looking to escape the crowds and the noise, check this place out. A very simple layout sees... more
