Description
Forgive the ugly red sign out front, this hotel is superbly designed. The lobby provides a grand entrance with lots of comfortable seating for lazing around -- and then leads straight through to the swimming pool and an impressive water feature. The whole place is bathed in warm peach and cream colours, providing a light and breezy atmosphere. Rooms are well appointed (air-con, fridge, cable TV) and have high ceilings -- another good feature being the inclusion of a safe inside. Bathrooms are also excellent. Rooms are fairly close to the poolside which may be good or bad depending on your want for privacy, or want for swimming. The poolside bar looks tempting. Rooms have a 40% discount until April 2007. Add 10% for public holidays.

Not cheap, but a lovely hotel -
By Emanef ( total comments: 7  More information please ) Stayed here 12/2007
We stayed for three nights at the end of December. It was the most expensive hotel we have stayed in during our trip, but was worth the money. Very nice room, well decorated, a lovely modern bathroom with a huge shower. Our room was overlooking the pool, and 10 metres on from that was the beach and sea.
The reception staff were all really friendly, and the included breakfast, whilst nothing flash, was the best inclusive breakfast we had.
Definately recommended if you don't mind paying a bit more for a few days on the beach.

Sunsea Resort
50 Nguyen Dinh Chieu St, Mui Ne Beach
Sunsea has amazing-looking deluxe round bungalows that look over their manicured brilliant green lawn running down to the beach, but on closer inspection the quality doesn't quite live up to their rates. Copious windows and doors leave the bungalows well lit but, with their exposed setting you'll... more

Blue Ocean Resort
54 Nguyen Dinh Chieu St, Mui Ne Beach
This resort has a very lush garden setting with a great pool towards the centre of the resort. The concrete duplex chalets are in a set of rows through the resort. The Garden View, Sea View and Pool View chalets are identical and priced according to their location. The Sea View rooms are definitely... more

Terracotta
28 Nguyen Dinh Chieu St, Ham Tien, Phan Thiet
Opened in November 2006 this place still smells of new furniture, which isn't a bad thing. Living up to it's name, Terracotta is exactly that, with dark reds and light browns adorning the walls. Standard rooms have no balcony, only a shared veranda with no seating -- other than that they are... more

Dynasty
140A Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ham Tien, Phan Thiet
This place has one of the best value rooms along the strip -- at US$45 a night the superior ocean view provides a roomy terrace with two chairs and a table which overlooks the pool area and out onto the South China Sea. Inside, a seating area doubles as a makeshift lounge whilst the TV swivels to... more

Sailing Club Mui Ne
24 Nguyen Dinh Chieu St, Ham Tien, Phan Thiet
A fairly compact resort compared to some of it's sprawling neighbours, the Sailing Club Mui Ne still retains a certain pull. Prices are towards the higher end of the scale but may just about be worth paying. All accommodation have air-con, cable TV, phone and minibar, and they are spotlessly clean.... more

Swiss Village
44 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ham Tien, Phan Thiet
Swiss Village is contained in a typical palm tree fringed tropical garden, and despite it's five star appearance is only a three star resort, even though the rates suggest otherwise. If the garden and facilities are five star, the rooms certainly aren't -- they look dowdy and in need of a good... more
