Tien Dat

Another excellent midrange option

Forgive the ugly red sign out front, this hotel is superbly designed. The lobby provides a grand entrance with lots of comfortable seating for lazing around -- and then leads straight through to the swimming pool and an impressive water feature. The whole place is bathed in warm peach and cream colours, providing a light and breezy atmosphere. Rooms are well appointed (air-con, fridge, cable TV) and have high ceilings -- another good feature being the inclusion of a safe inside. Bathrooms are also excellent. Rooms are fairly close to the poolside which may be good or bad depending on your want for privacy, or want for swimming. The poolside bar looks tempting. Rooms have a 40% discount until April 2007. Add 10% for public holidays.

Tien Dat reviews

Not cheap, but a lovely hotel - 30th January, 2008
We stayed for three nights at the end of December. It was the most expensive hotel we have stayed in during our trip, but was worth the money. Very nice room, well decorated, a lovely modern bathroom with a huge shower. Our room was overlooking the pool, and 10 metres on from that was the beach and sea. The reception staff were all really friendly, and the included breakfast, whilst nothing flash, was the best inclusive breakfast we had. Definately recommended if you don't mind paying a bit more for a few days on the beach.
