A solid mid-range option
The Binh Minh, across from Phan Thiet's beach, is a solid mid-range option -- especially if you cringe at the prices at the Novotel, but don't want to slum it in a guest house.
This two-star outfit has rooms in a pair of buildings separated by a courtyard. The seaview rooms are the most expensive, but the ones at the rear of the back building have very pretty views of the adjacent, pond, covered with lush green vegetation. Cheaper rooms are available elsewhere, but the offerings here are clean and crisp, with good furnishings and amenities, making them the top choice in town if comfort is the key to your happiness. The Binh Minh is another 'tour dependent' operation, but unlike the Doi Duong next door, it has something to offer the independent traveller as well. Avoid the in-house restaurant and head across the street to the beach-front outfits for food and drinks. The Binh Minh also has free WiFi and foreign exchange services.
