A good deal in a poor location

Along the road to Nha Trang, a kilometre past the roundabout, the Thanh My isn't in a very convenient location, but it's such a good deal for groups and solo travellers, it's still worth considering. The rooms we saw here in the same price range as the centre of town were much larger and accommodated more people. The cheapie fan doubles are a lot better than the ones at the Huu Nghi (which are enough to give some people nightmares) and they even have private baths, though expect a very small room for the small price you're paying. Motorbike rentals are theoretically available here, but they got really weird about it at the last minute and wouldn't rent us one. We found the staff, in general, a bit brusque and not very accommodating.
