Bien Vinh Hao Guest House and Restaurant
Budget option for divers
What we say:
The rooms here are an afterthought, the sea-side seafood restaurant being the raison-d'etre of the place. But, since it's only about a kilometre from the Vietnam Scuba Resort, it's your closest option to save money on accommodation. The rooms are about on a par with the ones up the road -- clean, with TVs, high ceilings, mint-green walls, and hot-water bathrooms with tubs. They also have nicer verandas giving on to the water than their pricier neighbour down the road. You'll get better-value rooms than this closer to the centre of town, but if you want to walk to the Scuba Resort, this is your only option. The restaurant is popular with visitors and locals alike, and is a good place to eat even if you're not staying here. Shower facilities are available if you show up and just want to use the beach.
