Description
The Tim Paradise is truly an undiscovered gem. The building is colourfully designed and well maintained, with clean lines throughout, and a three-story atrium at the centre. The pastel purple rooms here were huge for what you pay -- they aren't the 4-star rooms you'll get at the Saigon-Ninh Chu nearby, but homier, with more character, and much, much cheaper. All the rooms we saw had Jacuzzis in the bathrooms. It's a bit out of range for budget travellers, but if you're in the mid-to-luxury range, just stay here and use the pool and beach over at the Saigon-Ninh Chu. Recommended.

It's only really busy July through August, and on major Vietnamese holidays. The rooms here aren't all that spectacular -- not as... more
Phong Lan Hotel
74 Yen Ninh St, Ninh Chu
We found some pretty odd and surprising places on our visit to Ninh Chu beach, and this is one of the oddest. It's set well-off the beach, which seems a bit silly, and the grounds are designed like some kind of Italian palazzo, with foot-bridges crossing a lily-covered pond, converging on a gazebo... more
