Description
This centrally-located mid-range place makes sense if you're looking for comfort and convenience for an overnight stay. The standard rooms have small, but soft and comfy beds -- no points for the industrial grey carpeting throughout, nor for the decor, which is distinctly lacking in flair, but it's all clean and all the rooms have good furnishings -- including tubs in the bathroom. The living room suites actually look comfortable enough to lounge around in, which isn't always the case in this price range in Vietnam. It's a bonus that an entire branch of the Vietcom bank is located in the lobby, and there's also Karaoke and massage downstairs, if you care to give it a try.

If you're shopping for a room in this price range, there are better options. It does have its virtues -- in a quite spot on the Tra Khuc river. It has a pool, an ATM and a restaurant on premises. The rooms are standard three-star fare -- with air-con, cable TV, good furnishing -- all done in a... more
Central Hotel
784 Quang Trung St, Quang Ngai
This dilapidated four-star outfit isn't centrally located, but is convenient to the bus station. It's really falling apart, and they don't seem to be putting any effort into fixing it up. The furniture is worn, the walls are scuffed up, and the carpeting we saw had long black streaks all over it... more
