Hotel deals of the day for Singapore -- check rates with Agoda
Singapore is famous for its crab. This is why.
It can be a pricey dish to buy if you’re travelling on a budget — though No Signboard Seafood could be a start — so we suggest sampling it as part of a larger meal with a group. This is easy to do if you take Betelbox‘s food tour, for instance. There are various versions of crab dishes famed in Singapore, including the likely most popular chilli version, but our favourite is the scrumptious black pepper one; fusion food has even seen chilli crab pizza pop up.
And the sauce is usually mopped up with soft bread — the waiter is not trying to upsell you on rice, as ahem, we once thought. Bon appetit!
