Travelfish turns three!

Travelfish turns three today and we just wanted to say a big thankyou to everyone who has used the site and contributed in even the smallest way to help making travelfish the success that it is.

It's been a long but very satisfying three years as we've watched the site slowly grow from a small website that covered little more than Khao San Road to a pretty substantial affair that covers four countries and contains independent reviews on over 2,500 guesthouses and hotels in the region along with feature stories, trip plans, photo galleries and so on...

Samantha and myself initially put the idea together on a beach on Ko Maak -- at the time, it was but a ditty on a few sheets of A4 -- all wrapped up in a dream of perpetual travel. Little did we know that a few years from then we'd have a team of researchers covering the region and thousands upon thousands of site members... we're still working on the perpetual travel angle though ;-)

We've learnt a lot along the way and no doubt we'll pick up a lot more over the next three years. Likewise we hope you've also garnered some handy snippets of info that have helped to make your travels they best they could be.
