Hi,
I'm planning to do a PADI Open Water course on a Thai island early this December. I know Koh Tao is the most popular place to do it, but I understand that it may not be the best weather wise at this time of year. I've been looking at doing it on Koh Lipe instead. Koh Tao is cheaper, but I'm not too concerned about the price difference.
Would you advise doing it on Koh Tao or Koh Lipe (or another island) in early December?
I will only have about 8 or 9 days on Thai islands, so the scenery/ambience of the island is important as well as the quality of diving.
