Can anyone tell me if the road from Lasio up to Muse on the China border is open to tourists? Or alternatively from Bhamo to Muse?
Has anyone been on the roads going north or north east from Myitkyina?

I'd forget north of Myitkyina as there's sporadic fighting going on between Burmese Government Troops and the Kachin Independence Army.
As for routes to Muse I can't help, sorry.
