My current 10-11 day plan is.
Yangon>>fly>>inle lake>>overland>>bagan>>overland>>mandalay>>fly>>bangkok
and would like some help deciding if this a sensible approach.
Any thoughts on the better (or least worse) over land trips? as we could reverse Bagan and Inle or consider another fly sector to help.
You could fly the Inle-Bagan route, as the road is really rough but I think the flights are only once a week although the reverse is around three times a week so your best bet would be Yangon then Bagan, fly Heho (for Inle) overland to Mandalay.
It may be prudent to contact a Travel Agency in Yangon for flight arrangements as airline websites are somewhat unreliable.
