Hi, I am looking for a way to get from Yangon to Inle Lake (or at least Heho). I think that preffered connection would be by train. But I couldn't find any info on connections between Yangon-Heho, or Thazi-Heho. Or maybe I should look for a bus?
Best regards,
Blazej

A flight from Yangon to Heho (a small town and airstrip) is easy enough and takes little over an hour. Take a taxi from the airport to Inle.
A train will take you to Thazi from where you can try and find onward transport to the Inle area - there's no such thing as a 'connection' in Myanmar. Trains are paid for in $$$ and your money goes to the govt.
A bus from Yangon to Shwenyaung (the highway junction for Inle) takes about 20 hours.
A good agency for flights, etc is www.mrmyanmartravel.com .
