Hi everyone!
except for one flat tire and so i just i renewed both tires and also the chain. also i drive without licence since i forgot it at home, has been no prob so far. as i bought the bike i got a card for the bike, it has lao plates, comes with laguagge straps, a basket in the front, etc...
its a Kolao, i think cc100...

i am travelling through Lao with a Kolao Motorbike, which i bought here...
it is a great bike but since i go home on the 23 of august, i must sell it unfortunately before that... i am traveling up north and will end my trip in Vientiane, but i am looking for selling the bike in Luang Prabang around the 17-21th of august...it would be also possible that i take it on the bus down to vientiane if somebody would wanna buy it in vientiane...
it is a good lao bike, and i had no problems with it so far, travelled quite a distance and dirty roads and it did very well all the time
its not authomatic and i didnt know how to ride a semiautomatic one before, but learnt it fast.
it says it is a honda, but its not
the price is 3,5 mio Kip, i bought it for 3,8 mio and invested in tires, chain.
but we can talk about the price of course
if anyone is interested, pl email me or respond to this thread...

Kolao is not a Lao bike, but Korean. However if it says "Honda", it will not be a genuine Kolao, (Kia), but a Chinese copy.

well what i meant is that it is a Laotian bike in the sense of lao number plates...
but yes it is a real KOLAO, it says it on the engine. and yes it is made in Korea.

well, have you seen the bike??? i guess not and yes it does say honda on both sides in the front, but most motorbikes over here say honda on some part, even though they are not a honda...

Then it is NOT a Kolao, but a Chinese copy. Listen, I live here, I have owned Kolao bikes. They are a legitimate company and would not put a Honda label on it. You are trying to sell a Chinese copy bike; and "NO!", most bikes here do NOT have Honda on some part - not legitimate ones anyway.

Well, I certainly would not buy a Chinese copy and I would not recommend that anyone else do either. A possibility is that the person you bought it from added Honda stickers. You shouldn't advertise on this site anyway.

Where did that come from? As I type, there are three other posts on the main page for second-hand motorbikes for sale in addition to this one. Even if this is a Chinese copy, there is no excuse for attacking this poster the way you have Rufus.

"Kolao is not a Lao bike, but Korean."
I can't imagine that Laos produces anything that anyone would actually want to own.

Hey, my friend and me were also travelling through Lao by Motorbike and we want to sell them in Luang Prabang right now! So if you in Luang Prabang between the 1/15/2012 and 1/21/2012, you can contact us and buy our bikes.
Type: Honda Win, 100cc.
The bikes have Vietnamese license plates, so you can use them all over Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. (You can’t take Laos bikes overthe border!)
If you need more information, just call us: 02076964187 or 02076964204 (Lao numbers)
