I have a 2006 Honda WIN (100cc) for sale, available for a test drive in HCMC from 15th of December, alternatively 12th of Dec in Dalat or 13th-15th Dec in and around Mui Ne . I would recommend Mui Ne if you are an inexperienced rider and want to avoid the mental HCMC traffic!
$250 will get you:
-The bike in full working order with all the necessary paperwork
-Custom made bag rack and bungee cords
-Western-style helmet with full face visor
-Simple toolkit (screwdrivers, sparkplug, etc)
-Gloves
-Good quality rain cover - big enough to cover you and half of the bike - only used it once
-Heavy duty U-lock
-Map of Vietnam
-Basic repair manual, list of places to stay, list of Vietnamese phrases to use at the mechanics
I also have a 100+ page Vietnam road atlas for an additional $10. It is the 2011 updated edition, containing every back road of Vietnam.
