It's $5 per day. If you do not exceed 2 weeks it's a straight forward procedure and it can just be handled at border.
If you want to be sure you can have it done at any immigration-department or via a travel agent that does visa before you head for a border. Normally no other penalties.

It'd be interesting to find out how much they charge you at KK since this is the most corrupt border post in Cambodia. As eastwest says it's $5 a day. Also the implications of being caught as an overstayer are not as serious as in Thailand.

Hi all,
Anyone know how much an overstay is in Cambodia and how easy it is to sort out?
Looks like being 3 days, (which will cost me 1,500 baht in Thailand.)
I cross into Thailand at Koh Krong near Trat.
Cheers,
Mike
