Phnom Penh or Siem Reap to Phu Quoc

Does anyone know if there is a direct flight to Phu Quoc Island from either Siem Reap or Phnom Penh?
If not what's the easiest way of getting there?

Hi Lucy,

I'm pretty certain that the only flights available are from either HCMC or Rach Gia (Southern Vietnam).

There are also options of catching a boat from Rach Gia but they are slow and can be quite dangerous depending on the time of year.

Whichever have a good trip!!!

No direct flights.

Easiest way is sly to Saigon then fly to Phu Quoc. Cheapest way is Phnom Penh - Chau Doc - Rach Gia - Phu Quoc

Hi Sontam2000 and Steviej,

Following your advice we're now thinking of travelling from Phnom Penh to Rach Gia (then flying across to Phu Quoc as I've heard quite a few scary things about the boat!!)...

Is there a nice trip we can do - perhaps a boat on the Mekong to get us to Rach Gia? Rather than a bus...
