Hi,
We arrive into Bangkok from the UK at 15.30 and I was hoping to make our way straight from the airport to Aranyaprathet to overnight there before crossing the border to Siem Reap. I was originally going to overnight in Bangkok and make an early start but this makes more sense and means we will get to Siem reap a lot earlier. Are there any buses around this time to Aranyaprathet from the airport?

the second & last Suvarnabhumi > Talat Rong Kleua bus of the day would have departed even before you land.
if you don't want to travel into BKK city centre & then to Mor Chit...could consider spending the night at one of the guesthouses/hotels near the airport (ideally one that offers airport pick up/drop off service), & then returning to Suvarnabhumi public transportation centre the next morning to catch the bus? some options listed here: http://www.backpackinthailand.com/suvarnabhumi_hotels.html
