Howdy, is it possible to get a tourist visa at a Cambodian port of entry? If so, how much? I checked the Cambodian ministry of foreign affairs site, but it only touts the e-visa. Any help will greatly be appreciated. Cheers, Mikonos.

Yes, you can get a visa on arrival at the border. Cost is around USD25. The Foreign Ministry website lists the various crossings. One other, not shown on there, is the O'Yadaw/Le Thanh crossing from Viet Nam into Ratana Kiri Province (Ban Lung).

Make sure you have a passport photo for your visa, it will make things easier for you.

The visa costs $20 for tourist except for Koh Khong where I am now.Last night I talked to two Americans who were fleeced for $40 each! So if you're coming via KK get an e-visa.Photo is no problem if you don't have one they'll take one for you for 100 baht.

Hi
I just want to update this thread with the current info. Is it still possible to get the Cambodian visa on arrival from Laos? I've been told it costs 20 USD by a few people but no-one mentioned if it was on arrival as they all seem to be coming the other way.
Cheers.

I talked to two Americans who were beggared for $40 each! So if you're advancing via KK get an e-visa.Photo is no botheration if you don't accept one they'll yield one for you for 100 baht.

I crossed recently and it cost me $20 US - they will try and scam you for 1200 - 1400 baht, just insist on going to immigration no matter what they tell you - Beware of all people greeting you, they want your money, No e-visa required and yes bring a photo.
