Anyone know if it's possible to take a bus from Vientiene down into Thailand then into Cambodia (Siem Reap) WITHOUT

Yup, you can go bus from Nong Khai to Khorat then change for a bus to Aranyprathet, then cross into Cambodia at the Poipet crossing.

Do you know if this bus trip can be done in a day, assuming leaving Ventiane to cross the Thai border early in the morning? If not, where is the best place to overnight at, Aranyprathet? Thanks!
