Me and my girlfriend are travelling from Phnom Penh to Battambang on the 31th of january and are looking for people to share a taxi with. I'm not entirely sure about the costs but the Travelfish page about Battambang says it's $48 for the whole car.
If you're interested, please let me know on this board. I think two more people should make for a comfortable and affordable ride.

I took the bus - I booked it at the travel agent on 258. It sounds hellish, but it was actually fine, and fairly fast. It was dirt-cheap, too... I went all the way from PP to Bangkok for $20. Might be worth looking into....?
