Hi all,
i'm planning a one month stay at Phnom Pehn while learning a new language,i'm a malaysian chinese.I'm interested learning Khmer,Spanish,French,Italian or any others.I'm looking a female teacher who can teach 3 to 5 hours a day.
Also looking for a apartment for rent month?budget less than USD150.
Anyone with good recommendation?

...........If you only have a month and a small budget, you may be better off making a deal for a long term stay at a guest house. You should be able to negotiate a bit of a discount on the daily rate. Even so, you may need to revise your budget a little, unless you're happy to have a shared bathroom.
There are some 'apartment hotels' in Phnom Penh available for short rents, but they are not cheap. Most landlords prefer a minimum of 3 months rental for their properties, and most contracts are for 6 months or more.
Alternatively, you may be able to find a room in a shared apartment with expats - try advertising on one of the forums like http://www.expat-advisory.com to see if anyone has a spare room they'd be happy to rent out to you. This is also a good site to find language teachers. Also look in the adverts on Bong Thom website and the Phnom Penh Post for house shares and language teachers.
If you're learning Khmer, you could try to find a family to live with for one month and get lots of language practice, but you might want a bit more of your own space.
