Check Air Asia flights from PP to BKK are from about 40USD +tax and BKK to Phuket from 50USD inc tax (depends on when you are flying and how flexible you are of course.

You will have to go via Bangkok with AirAsia and this will be your cheapest option. Failing that you can probably spend 48 hours getting continuous buses all the way. But, trust me, you don't wanna do this. I have recently done a bus journey just from Phnom Penh to Chiang Mai and its hard going.

AirAsia, look now and you can pick up very cheap deals.
Safe travels

I'd overland to BKK and then take the cheapest flight on a still reputable airline.
Thai, Bangkok Airways, Air Asia and Nok Air are available (Nok flies from Don Mueang, I believe), with the last two having the cheapest fares.

Thanks everyone for the replies. A travel agent in the us found flights of 400+ p/p so I knew there had to be a cheaper way. I really appreciate the info!

"You can do both sections by air if you wish, although cheaper options are available to go overland.
I think this would be best for u..
thanks.."
If he's masochistic. That's a series of torturous bus rides leaving one ready for suicide before they reach Phuket. You must hate this guy or something.
