Hi,
Not sure you'll make BKK to Sihanouville in 1 day.
Once in Cambodia any times you are told by the ticket seller will be more inacurate than a British Rail timetable!!
Trip from SR back to BKK takes from 9 -12 hours depending on how many times the bus stops on the way to Poipet and how quick you clear the border & get your onward bus.
But why so worried about times? You're on holiday! If you are starting a trip thinking everything is timed to the minute, well, I've not found Cambodia to be like that!!

By big bus:
Kampot to Kep is about an hour
Kep to Phnom Penh should be about 4.5 hours
Phnom Penh to Siem Reap is about 6 hours
By car:
Kampot to Kep is about 30 minutes
Kep to Phnom Penh should be about 2.5 hours
Not sure about PP to SR - I've only every caught the bus!
These times are all approximate because if there's lots of traffic leaving the city, or rain, it can add to the journey time.
