Visited Cambodia for about 2.5 weeks last year as part of a ROTW trip and loved every minute of it. However, one thing we didn't do, which is I now regret, was a homestay on Tonle Sap. We did homestays in Peru, China and Vietnam, which were all brilliant, but from having read and seen some programmes on Tonle Sap and how the friendly locals eek out a living (catching water snakes etc), not to mention the natural beauty of the place, I reckon visitors to Cambodia should definitely try and squeeze this in on their travels.
