Thanks for all the suggestions on my overly ambitious itinerary, I have made some of the reccomended changes.
Is this doable?
Siem Reap Angkor Itinerary - January 21-28, 2012
Day 1-Saturday, January 21: Bangkok Air flight #PG913 arriving at 14:55, check in at Ta Prohm Hotel,go to Old Market and Pub Street area, sightseeing, shopping, dinner.
Day 2-Sunday, January 22: 5:00AM- Sunrise at Sra Srang, Small Circuit inreverse: Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo,Thommanom, Victory Gate, Kleangs, Prasats Suor Prat,Terrace of the Elephants,Phimeanakas, Baphuon, Bayon, South Gate Angkor Thom, Sunset atPhnom Bakheng.
Day 3-Monday, January 23: Rulousgroup, Kampong Khleang, Sunset at Phnom Krom or Bakong.
Day 4-Tuesday, January 24: 5:00AM - Sunrise at Angkor Wat, Large Circuitin reverse: Prasat Kravan, Pre Rup, EastMebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, Preah Khan, North Gate Angkor Thom, Preah Pithu, TepPranam, Preah Palilay, Terrace of the Leper King, South Gate Angkor Thom, Sunset at Angkor Wat.
Day 5-Wednesday, January 25: Phnom Kulen, City tour by Tuk Tuk, Sunset at Bayon or TaProhm.
Day 6-Thursday, January 26: 5:00AM- Sunrise at Phnom Bakheng, Ko Ker, Banteay Samre, Sunset atPre Rup.
Day 7-Friday, January 27: 7:00AMBanteay Srei, Kbal Spean, Beng Melea , Sunset at Angkor Wat(enter through East gate).
Day 8-Satarday, January 28: Lao Airlinesflight #QV522 departing at 10:05.

That looks more sensible.
Whatever itinerary you make, try to stay flexible and stay able to change according to how you feel.
two comments:
day 3: Rolous group is not that big and is at the most a half day trip. The temples themselve also aren't that big. I haven't been to Kampong Khleang but this should be an easy day. Try to fit in the museum in Siem Reap. It's not well known by many but really worth it for an afternoon such at day 3.
day 5: Phnom Kulen is a bit far so make the most of it and make this a full day trip and move the city tour to another day (day 3?). Phnom Kulen has beautiful scenery, the river with 1000 lingas, a waterfall and Srah Damrei (which I highly recommend) and some other smaller sites spread out over the mountain. Would be a shame if you go this far and rush it to get back for a city tour. This could be a great day to combine nature, temples and relaxation.
